| NATAL CHART ANLAYSIS
PERSONALITY: SUN, MOON, ASCENDANT, MIDHEAVEN
We are all a host of contradictions. Nothing illustrates this better than a natal chart. Different planets and their relationships to one another pull us in different directions. One of the points of natal analysis is to realize where these influences are coming. Once we are able to locate them we can begin the evolutionary processes of correction and enhancement. Remember that every flaw is only a mask for a potential strength. If a native has a tendency to oversleep and
thus miss out on important activities, she can learn to manage her sleep habits and thus become an active, more fulfilled individual. Also, remember that nothing is written in stone. We have free wills. If a challenge is presented to us, we can do something about it. Just because we have a predisposition to certain behavior patterns does not mean we have to follow them. For instance, many of the best public speakers are those who had to undergo speech therapy in their youths to correct speech
defects.
Enough preaching. What follows is an interpretation. The technique used is largely based on the work of Reinhold Ebertin and his school of Cosmobiology. Note that in that methodology, no house system is used. Also, only hard aspects are evaluated. Additionally, a planet's meaning is most often revealed by its midpoint structure. In other words, its location may be between two stellar bodies. Hence the planet synthesizes the influences of those two planets as well as its
own personality. In this report, I refer to this as the "cosmobiological structure" of a planet. The influences of the other planets are most effectively realized when that planet is contacted by another planet by transit or direction.

THE SUN
The Sun represents the spirit and mind of a living individual, represented by her body. Your sun is in the second decanate of Aries, and thus experiences the influence of Leo as well. An Aries sun characterizes leader, people with strong temperaments. When positively manifested, you show courage, enthusiasm and passion. The other side of this is ruthlessness and hastiness. There can be so much enthusiasm to act that judgment gets thrown out the window. With the secondary
influence of Leo, both the positive and negative traits of an Aries Sun placement are accentuated.
You sun experiences significant hard aspect from Mars and Uranus. These too are fiery planets. People with your Mars=Sun aspect frequently find that they enter life and early adulthood with a bang, and then the energy seems to evaporate and they get stuck in seemingly go-nowhere jobs. This is a tendency you must guard against. A popular forest fire fighting technique illustrates the reason this happens. One sets a fire in the path of an oncoming blaze. The two fires seem
to consume one another and thus the flame burns out. Guard against this tendency. Having these two tremendous sources of fire in aspect to one another gives you a heck of a lot of fuel and passion. When an individual learns to govern these her potential is limitless. However, it is hard to do without getting burned. It is not an easy journey, but if you learn to temper your passion and positively direct it, you should be able to attain very high goals. This also indicates that you ideally should
set the bar high for yourself. Having low expectations enables two the two fiery dynamics to consume one another.
An opposition to Uranus further accentuates the ferocity of inner passion. This brings with a great deal of hypersensitivity. It can manifest as a lot of unwelcome tension in relationship. You experience a conflict between your will and someone else’s very intensely. You need to realize that you have this tendency to be inflexible, and to allow it to upset you. You need to realize that this is a pre-programmed reaction on your part, and try to take a step back when you
are in conflict with someone else. In extreme cases, this difficulty in conflict resolution can be crippling. I don’t think that’s so in your case, even though it’s still a problem. Also, this type of opposition brings with it a desire for eccentric types of self-expression, a willingness to stand out in a crowd. It’s not so much a drive to be a center of attention as it is finding sympathy with unusual appearances, behaviors and values. Also, this aspect shows up for people with occult
talents. For instance, many astrologers have this opposition. You can develop arcane types of knowledge.
There is also a saint sinner dichotomy brought into play by these two shared aspects. Both law enforcement officers and criminals may find themselves with too much inner fire. Hence they seek to control their societies by fanatically upholding or challenging its values.
There is one further highly significant contact for your sun. That is a conjunction with your Midheaven. This talks about the need for a well-developed ego consciousness. In the worst instance, this manifests as extreme selfishness, and again difficult finding compromise or middle ground. Positively, it can lead to profound self-knowledge. Like the Sun and Uranus it underscores both the capability and need for esoteric and profound knowledge. Just like the cop-crook
dichotomy, it shows up for atheists and mystics. Ultimately, however, most such individuals realize a need for profound spirituality, although frequently this does not begin to manifest until you reach your mid-thirties.
The cosmobiological structure of the sun accentuates the challenge of finding yourself. While there is a strong desire for a love relationship, you are at odds when it comes to sharing your life with someone else. It’s simply difficult for you to feel that you’re a maintaining your own space while sharing that space with someone else. You want the relationship to be based on fairness and high principles. Sometimes the need to define your own space can create friction,
and that very issue brings into question what is fair in a relationship. Also, you are not inclined to want to have children, which can present difficulty for some men who seek marriage. Not wanting to have children is just part of your nature, which is reinforced by multiple astrological aspects and cosmobiological midpoint structures, so don’t worry about it. You have strong creative potential and ultimately your children will be the work that you do once you realize your creative path.
However, to do that you first have to overcome a tendency to daydream. This may be accentuated by being in a job that does not bring satisfaction and thus gives your mind space to move around. Because you are a self centered person, you must be careful that dreaming about achieving something does not replace the experience of actually achieving that task or goal. For instance, you compose a beautiful photo in your mind. To you that’s enough because the satisfaction you aim for in the creative
act is personal, not social. Don’t do that. It’s o.k, even good, to dream about goals, just so long as you take steps to achieve them. Also, you have good speaking ability, and this is something you may have gone through a lot of hard work to develop. You should like to hear your own voice and take advantage of that because you can use words effectively. Don’t feel guilty about wanting recognition. Also, travel is good for your development because the change of perspectives helps you
recognize both inner and universal truths more clearly. Travel can be physical as well as interior. Again, there is evidence that you would profit from occult or mystical studies. These would enable you to see yourself from different perspectives and also envision the inner working of the world around you. Such recognition ultimately leads to enhanced self worth and figuring out what it is you need to do.
THE MOON
The Sun represents your most visible presence in the world. The moon is your most secret. However, like the sun it is in a fire sign: Leo. The critical feature of this placement is the need for careful self-definition. You don’t succeed in life or achieve true happiness by just letting stuff happen. I think you’ve learned that. You need to have a plan in order to realize self-definition. You have a lot of natural intuition and creativity that is simply not being used.
Get with the program and find outlets. People aren’t given these gifts so that can remain hidden. I know that these types of feelings are close to your heart, your inside self. You may feel a little vulnerable about bringing them out in the open. Again, one of the traits of having so many fiery sign placements for the planets and angles, which shape your identity, is the desire to appear strong and successful. Things that represent pure self-expression may be subject to criticism, and you
would initially take criticism as failure and that would be very hurtful to you. However, with the astrological factors you have in place, you’ve got more talent than most people. That’s just a fact of life. Know that it’s pretty doubtful you would fail at a creative endeavor if you stuck with it. Talent is not a democratic thing, and you’ve lucked out on that score, so take advantage of it. You enjoy good food and beautiful things. You can find your moods alternating between great
generosity and snobbishness.
Your moon receives only one major aspect. That is a square by Mercury. Again, this is an indicator of verbal skill and quick wittedness. Often, it results in you talking too much without well-defined discretionary limits. In other words, be careful to whom you say what. This can also create difficulties in intimate romances. Men may not always want to hear everything you have to say. This can be an issue because you have strong opinion and sense of right and wrong.
Therefore, you think that it is the man’s problem if he doesn’t want to hear your truth. You may need to learn to compromise, particularly when getting a relationship off the ground.
Also, you can absorb information quickly. The drawback of this is you can get way with skimming the surface of something that may require more in depth thought.
The cosmobiological structure of the Moon reinforces many issues that came up with the Sun. You have to guard against a tendency to daydream non-productively. Again, creative expression is a good outlet for this. Also, you really could discover a good deal of enrichment through metaphysical and occult study. (I don’t mean to sound like a broken record, but this keeps coming up. I can say from my own experience that I considered myself an atheist when I was your age, and
now I’m a priest!) Sometimes your inability to yet find a life partner can contribute to feelings of inferiority. Also, there may be a bit of a problem because part of you is aware of having enormous potential that is not being realized. Rather than work to realize it, you allow yourself to devalue yourself because you are not being all that you can be. While you are the type of person who benefits from discipline, don’t let a lack of self-realization at this point make you think less of
yourself. You’ve got a lot of ability particularly in linguistic, leadership, plasticity, and metaphysics. You’re young and you don’t need to have all the answers at this point. You simply need to establish a game plan for your life’s achievement. Care should be taken with the recreational use of alcohol or controlled substances if you find that you are tempted to use them as a crutch.
Sun and Moon are synthesized by the Part of Fate. Your part of Fate lies in Scorpio. Of this placement, noted astrologer Dane Rudhyar writes, "Illumination is the result of inner fecundation." Rather than me explain that, I think you would benefit from meditating on that statement. That placement frequently occurs for people whose search for happiness involves mastery of either the occult or eroticism. Also, your part of fate is in opposition to Saturn.
That may indicate a need for a more rigorous type of mysticism, such as one that requires physical initiation, and some issues with the father.
ASCENDANT
Your Ascendant, representing your personality, resides in Cancer. This placement underscores the perception of you possessing a compassionate and gentle character. Most of your friends would describe you as a good person to whom they turn for support in times of crisis. You are a caring and sensitive soul. Much of your mood depends on what is going on in your home life. You can be very moody, particularly when things at home go awry. You are able to learn from others, a
positive trait. However, the negative side of this is that others effect your emotions strongly and can cut the ground out from under your feet. Also, being so sensitive, you can tend toward hypochondria. You are so sensitive that at times you perceive things that are not there or you oversimplify their significance. The most significant aspect that your ascendant forms is with Mercury, your intellect. Your feelings shape your intellect. Your relationships are expressed in your worldview and how
you act. You are very concerned about others. The best expression of this is a desire to communicate and to have relationships based on intelligent mutual expression. The challenge is to avoid gossip and interpersonal intrigues.
Your Ascendant is not integrated into any cosmobiological structure. It is midpoint no significant planetary structures.
MIDHEAVEN
Your Midheaven represents your inner spiritual awareness. It seems similar to the moon. The difference is that the Moon deals with pure feeling, and the Midheaven your perception and expression of that feeling in a spiritual manner. It is conjunct your sun in Aries. This underscores the need for you to develop that inner spiritual aspect of yourself in order to find true happiness and purpose in life. This is not to say that religion or spirituality is a cure all. Indeed,
addressing spirituality may raise real challenges for you. With your quick mind, you may face the danger of accepting something profound based on a surface understanding. For instance you perceive a spiritual discipline has features which enhance one’s sense of individualism and power over her surroundings. You say, eureka, I found it! Without fully grasping its subtleties. At some point then you become alienated from it when you discover its deeper truths, and allow yourself to become
disappointed in religion. Take your time. You don’t have to find a spiritual path tomorrow or in ten years time. It is important for you, but enjoy the journey and don’t sign up for something because it seems to you to be the cult of the next big thing. A well-developed spiritual center is the basis from which you can attain the extraordinary. If that were an easy thing to do, hey we’d all be priests. Realize that the universe works in an understandable manner. With some work, you can
grasp it. Then you will have the personal satisfaction that you live in a meaningful world. You will have the power to contribute to it and even alter its course on a personal level.
The cosmobiological structure of your Midheaven deals strictly with defining your relationship to the rest of the world. Again we see that there can be suffering based on not meeting your relationship goals. However, you are not meant to recognize a sense of worth through what others think of you. The sooner your accept that, the easier relationship issues become. You fluctuate in your desire for material versus spiritual/moral attainment. You want strongly to be yourself
and rule over your environment. That frightens you sometimes because it seems like you want to be a dictator. Because you have the seed that can enable you to grow into a leader, you face the issue of what should be the boundary between you and those around you. You have the ability to make good decisions for a group. Does that give you the right to make up other people’s minds for them? That’s not an easy question if you’re being honest with yourself, and you’re going to need to wrestle
with that issue yourself. Once you feel you are comfortable with your own answer, the better able you will be to assume the necessary degree of control.
DRAGONS HEAD - DEALING WITH SOCIETY
You Dragon's Head rests on the access between Aquarius and Leo. That again brings you face to face with issue regarding your role in the group. In some ways it’s easier for you to be generous and kind in a group than it is on an individual level. You are able to share more of yourself and your personal qualities. You do well to be in groups that have a wide variety of interest and sharp minds. You would like to see the world around you progress.
The cosmobiological structure of the Dragon's head for you is that of a leader. You have the ability to spur people on to great achievement, to realize their best. This could be useful to you should you pursue a career as a motivational speaker, teacher or priest. You would like to be able to set an example for yourself. But you need to remember that in striving for power and consolidating your position as a leader you may need to be more adaptable and less judgmental
than you now are. You still have issues with this leadership potential that result in you presenting a passive demeanor to the public. While you do best in the company of intelligent people, you may hide your true self by hanging out with "weaker" individuals. Positive associations bring out your personal best.
Your inner planets have relatively few major aspects. This makes their sign placement and cosmobiolgical structures most important in interpretation.
MERCURY – INTELLECT
We’ll start with Mercury in Taurus. As such you wish to be logical and have firm opinions. Again, for a highly intelligent person, that’s not unusual. Just remember to cut others a little slack as far as their viewpoints go. Also, this Mercury placement can help ground some of the more volatile qualities of Aries. Your intellect can keep you from "flying off the handle.
The cosmobiological structure of Mercury is full of promise. It is the most varied and complex of all your cosmobiological structures. Mercury is at the center of eight cosmic midpoints. With so much mental capability and activity, it is not surprising that it has taken you so long to get a clear focus in life. You have lots of different paths your intellectual expression can take. When someone is limited in this area, often they can find their form of expression quickly,
but someone like you has to work through diverse options. You have good problem solving ability, which can apply to a wide variety of disciplines, whether creative or administrative. You have the ability to build relationships based on your use of language. This means that you could pursue some type of career that uses writing ability, such as being an educator, political lobbyist or poet. (Again, priest is not out of the question. You can preach real well.) You can derive great enjoyment from
working with the language and use language to define yourself. Sometimes that can alienate you from others. You may be able to develop significant relationships through written correspondence. For instance, you could develop significant friendships or even romantic relationship through e-mail correspondence.
In some ways your Mercury masquerades as Venus, since beauty, sensuality, romantic aspirations and creativity are part of your mental projection. Surprisingly, your Mercury says a lot about your romantic potential. Sometimes you base romantic relationships strictly on the basis of physical attraction. It is really important to you how a guy looks. Look, you have something of an artistic temperament when you’re being honest with yourself. Artists like nice looking things
and good looks in a man make putting up with him a whole lot easier. You can fall in love quickly because of this. The problem is that this does not satisfy your long term psychological relationship needs. Your mind needs its space. You really need to be defined as yourself – not as a component of a couple. Maybe you should consider a romantic partnership in which you two do not live together. You enjoy the verbal and written exchange of ideas so it is possible to maintain a relationship in
which you are not always in one another’s presence. You need your space and some absence makes the heart grow fonder.
Mentally, there is a need for art and personal creative expression. On a subtle level you can appreciate intricate rhythms. This ability to perceive subtle pattern is useful to the artist in you. It is what enables a photographer to recognize a good composition, or a musician to pace a score. It also lends itself to astrological interpretation. You can recognize patterns. Hence you can look for meaning in the world by recognize the hand of divinity through he pattern it
leaves.
VENUS – ART, BEAUTY, LOVE
Venus is of course the planet we most associate with love and art. It is exalted in Pisces, good testament to creative ability and the possibility for finding self-fulfillment through art. Of course, there is a longing for love. Its square with Jupiter means that you can experience a rapid growth of both creative and romantic expression simultaneously. It is not inaccurate to say that you are like a rosebud ready to bloom given the proper nourishment. Also, it brings with
it a potential to earn a good living. Since Jupiter and Venus together are the signature of abundance and joy, there can be a danger of excess in all forms. To be able to experience joy, one must know extreme sadness. Sometimes this combination is going to cause you to feel miserable over your relationships.
Your cosmobiological structure with Venus involves Mercury. This makes everything written about you and Mercury ditto for Venus. (It also makes Mercury’s relationship to art, love and creative expression for you more understandable.) Basically, you fall in love quickly. Your desire for love can undermine your sense of self. That is because you have yet to figure out how to be yourself and still be yourself when you’re in love with somebody else. You can learn a lot
about yourself through creative expression and meditating on art. You can discover truths about yourself and the universe through meditating on art.
MARS – AMBITION
Mars in Leo indicates an ambitious personality. You can throw yourself into any task with great zeal and work independently. This is your basic potential. It can be weakened by the short-circuiting we discussed earlier. But it is important to realize that this is available to you. When you devote yourself to something whole-heartedly you feel like yourself. You must guard against biting off more than you can chew and alienating others by appearing obstinate.
Of course Uranus squares Mars, as does the sun. The Uranus square gives you the opportunity to be an agent of change. You are best to use this for a positive social or creative purpose. The dark side of this square can be illustrated by anti social behavior and destructiveness.
The cosmobiological structure of Mars reinforces these qualities. You must guard against jealousy because that can inhibit you from progressing. It also creates unnecessary intrigues. You have the type of temperament that works best when everyone is being honest. Sometimes that is going to cause you to feel jealous. But you want to examine the causes of jealousy, particularly in romantic relationship, up front. Left unexamined your emotions are explosive. Your passion to
do a good job (when it is something you care about) can make you a very good colleague, particularly when others recognize your contribution and have something to offer them. Your passionate nature again brings with it a tendency to choose boyfriends for their looks or sexual performance, but you have to face that these relationships will often tax your endurance and bring about a desire for separation. Of course, failure in a relationship is not something you take easily because your strong
personality has an urge to succeed. Something that personal really stings when if you feel that you have failed in it.
JUPITER- EXPANISION
Jupiter is in its home sign in Sagittarius. Many, including myself, will gladly trade Jupiter placement with you if you’re feeling karmatically generous. A Sagittarius Jupiter Sagittarius is regarded in astrology as being the hallmark of noble character sparked by a love of justice and the striving for inner fulfillment. Under this sign, natives love to travel and are capable of high religious attainment. The downside of this sign can be a tendency to wastefulness
because your abilities provide you with a means to indulge.
The cosmobiological structure of Jupiter is very strong, and even provides the groundwork for the attainment of fame and fortune. You have the talent to achieve public recognition for your work. This is not something to be taken lightly. At the same time, don’t get overwhelmed by it. As I said earlier, you have this great inner fire which maybe has burned itself out. You have the means to rekindle it. Of course, that means that there is a risk of getting burned. Or
flying too high like Icarus. However, the key here is planning goals and sticking to them. Seriously, you can aim as high as you want with these goals. You have a gift to come up with fortunate ideas and at the avidity to make long term plans. The key to effectiveness is to make sure that you have a clear grasp on the issue at hand. Also, you could probably do well with stock market investment, should that be of interest to you. Whatever you do in that manner, manage the funds, buys and sells
yourself. That does mean you need to take time to learn what is involved. But you can make good decision in this area if you do your homework. In the long run, your career goal should place you in a decision-making capacity. You are someone who could do very well running her own business. You know how to assign task and can probably recognize other people’s strengths. So you can put together a winning team.
SATURN - CONTRACTION
There’s a running joke among astrologer that everything was looking hunky dory when looking at Jupiter. Why the heck does Saturn have to follow it? If Jupiter is what gives you the means to grow, Saturn defines that growth by setting its limit. Both energies are necessary. Think of birth itself. You have expansion, represented by the growing womb and the explosion of new life. This is akin to Jupiter. However, the mother must deal with painful contractions and the nasty
physical facts of varicose veins and back pain. This is akin to Saturn. Both are necessary for the birth of a new life to be successful. Your Saturn is grounded in Taurus. This can be a fairly productive placement for Saturn because it provides you with the ability to endure. It enables you to exercise self-restraint and the application of method to your goals. It also invokes the desire to acquire property. It tempers some of the more revolutionary aspects of your nature with conservatism. It
can mean that you have to work extra hard to achieve goals and that at times you will feel inhibited and trapped.
After Mercury, it has the most involved cosmobiological structure in your chart. Many of the characteristics engendered by this are the shadow sides of the more dynamic tendencies already discussed. For instance, your desire for romance can seem an unending quest. When it seems to have failed, a black mood falls upon you. You have deep black moods that frighten both yourself and those close to you. How often you succumb to these is a measure of how fulfilled you are.
Sometimes they are not escapable and you simply have to work through them. This is not the same as your desire for your own space, although at time you worry that they may either appear to be the same. You need to recognize that desire as a positive opportunity to get in touch with yourself. There is nothing wrong with being your own best friend. I cannot be sure from your chart how you feel about having time to yourself. In the long run, it is a good thing for you. You are someone whose company
is enjoyed by her friends. There’s nothing wrong with you enjoying that company as well, and it can really help you in your life quest for creative fulfillment and finding the right relationship.
Because there is that component of you that seeks independence, sometimes you might come across as being too one sided and stubborn. It’s not easy for any one to learn how to find just the right balance with self-interest. You have probably made mistakes at both extremes, making yourself malleable to other people’s wishes by wearing a false face (and thus not feeling good inside) and pushing for your own advantage (at the expense of alienating someone close.) Most
people face this in their lives in one way or another. For you the underlying issue is more important because of the enormous potential for self-realization. Your self-realization has the potential to benefit a lot more people than just yourself. Therefore it may require a little bit more work than it would for someone who does not possess so many natural gifts.
URANUS- REVOLUTION
Uranus is the agent provocateur of the zodiac. The planet was discovered at a time of tremendous social upheaval and the dawn of the industrial revolution. Hence it is associated with revolutionaries, non-conformists and mystics. Its placement in Libra provides you with great natural inspiration as well as the ability to empathize with others. Your empathy may cause you to seek social reform. Like so many of your other placements, this one too brings with it a high degree
of talent and creativity. Also, it sometimes indicates peculiar views on marriage. At its worse, it brings you trouble in adapting your goals to those of the greater society and can cast you in the role of a troublemaker.
The Cosmobiological structure of Uranus brings to the forefront the issue related to you personal creativity and the need to express it. There can be a great deal of tension and contrary behavior if your creative and mystical side is not being expressed. It does not bode well for relationships if you are not finding a way to use your abilities. This can result in very sudden separations, which are actually a reflection of the frustrated inner artist/priestess who does not
have a voice. So she takes it out in some ways on her boyfriend, and this either causes you to break with him or him to go running from you. Because you have a high degree of sensitivity, possibly even some genuine psychic ability, your feelings are keenly felt and can manifest as hypersensitivity and perhaps a touch of hypochondria. You can make yourself ill through worry. When your energy is not finding an appropriate outlet, you become stunted and depressed. You benefit from travel and having
diverse experiences in life.
NEPTUNE - MYSTICISM
Your Neptune in Sagittarius brings with it a strong urge for high spiritual attainment. Sagittarius is the alchemist’s sign. The key to alchemy is to transform one’s self, to take one’s basic instincts and attune them with the highest purpose. In physical alchemy the base metals are heated as part of their transformation into gold. Look at the significant fiery placement for your Sun, Moon and Midheaven to provide you with the keys to find this inner fire to realize
your gifts. You can do truly adventurous and pioneering work. Eventually, I believe that some type of religion is going to be very important to you and your personal development. The likelihood is that it will not be a traditional religion. If it is Christianity, it will probably be something like Quakerism or the Unitarian Church. But you may consider Buddhism, Wicca, Hinduism, Santeria, or another religion which was not part of your early social expectations. You also need to experience
authentic love in a romantic relationship, not just a love of convenience, but the type of love that elevates both parties’ souls.
Neptune is conjunct Jupiter. The two planets get along well, since Jupiter traditionally ruled the sign Pisces that has now been assigned to Neptune. Your Neptune is in Jupiter’s sign. Positively, the conjunction indicates that the mystical qualities of Jupiter are essential to personal growth and success. Negatively, it brings a tendency to daydream and the potential for overindulgence. However, I think in your case the positive qualities are the most relevant because
Neptune is in Jupiter’s sing and your personal planets have a lot of fire to burn off non-productive energy.
The cosmobiological structure of Neptune is simple with only one midpoint placement, Neptune = Moon/Pluto. This indicates your emotional vulnerability and depressive tendencies. This may manifest through overeating and ambivalence about traditional feminine roles.
Pluto - Dynamics
Pluto in Virgo indicates an inquisitive mind. You do well in learning situations where acquiring knowledge is the goal. Again, you can achieve a great deal through your intelligence alone. Your zeal can benefit any endeavor. You may have an aptitude for science. You can apply the principles of science to esoteric and creative disciplines.
Your Pluto has no significant aspects or cosmobiological structure. As such it can be either very strong or hardly there in terms of its influence. Pluto itself represents Prometheus, the mythic figure who stole fire from the gods as his gift to mankind. Of course, he paid for that action by facing a long period of torture. In your case, Pluto may represent your ability to bring gifts to others, both those close to you and the greater society.
Chiron - Shamanism
Chiron, a centaur who gave up his life in exchange for Prometheus liberation, saved Prometheus from his torture. Chiron was a shaman. He had no equal as both a diviner and a healer. There is a comet that orbits between Saturn and Uranus that bears his name. I include Chiron in my chart readings. But there’s a caveat. I have found that Chiron only exerts and influence in the charts of those who recognize a mystic calling of some kind. In your chart, you plainly have this
potential, but it is not being realized. It may be that Chiron’s influence will only be realized for you once you examine your role in the universe through some type of mystic study. Chiron in Aries is the placement of a woman Warrior. Historically, Chiron first appeared in Aries during the time American women first got the vote. As such, these were women exercising their power. It also occurred during the peak of the Women’s liberation movement, when the Equal Rights Amendment narrowly
failed to become part of the constitution. Your placement is that of a woman who demands respect and wishes to play a role in the society at large. It is conjunct your Sun. This typically shows up for people who have an extraordinary purpose in this world. These are people who live with a sense of destiny and desire for attainment. It reinforces many of the capabilities for great success we examined earlier.
QUESTIONS
- Will I face Severe Health Problems? You need to be heart smart in diet and lifestyle. If something in your health is going to screw up, it is most likely to be your heart. Remember that everyone has a weak point. Mine happens to be the heart as well. That does not mean that either of us is going to develop severe heart disease. It simply means there is that potential, so we need to be sensitive to it. Heart disease is very avoidable with good care. You want to
start getting thorough cardiovascular workups done in your mid to late thirties. Thirty-Eight would be a good age to start. I try to get a stress test and imaging done every five years. I think that is a good program.
You also may have a family tendency to diabetes. Again, just monitor it.
As for other serious diseases, there are some areas of potential trouble, but your biggest obstacle is a slight tendency to hypochondria. I feel that a lot of your long-term good health depends on you maintaining a healthy state of mind. You want to do productive work that makes you happy! You do have to look at the deeper issues in life, but you’re still young. Just believe in yourself! You have a lot of energy. Energy that does not find an appropriate outlet sometimes gets corrupt and ends
up hurting you rather than helping.
- When would be a good time to move? I’m assuming you’re talking about a long-range move. The best time would be 5-16-2008. The exact date is determined by the secondary progressed moon, a timing technique favored by many cosmobiologists. Also, that year has a lot of favorable transit activity for you. Transits enable things to happen. Plus, the directed Sun is conjunct with Saturn that July. Typically this is a once in a lifetime event that some people will
never experience. This represents you coming into your own and finally achieving self-definition. This would be an excellent for many critical life decisions. You may find that this move is necessitated by a relationship or by a new job.
- When would be the best time to initiate a long-term relationship? When you meet someone worthy of you. That being said, let’s look at some times that favor romantic involvements. Don’t laugh, but you could do a lot worse that October 2008. I bet you’re beginning to see a pattern here. Let’s try for something closer to home. October of this year has a lot going for it, but hold on for a rocky ride. This can be a very exhilarating relationship, but I’m not
sure of its longevity to be honest. The whole month has some real peaks and valleys that take you through the full range of Eros and love. You also may come face to face with your anima, that is your masculine projection at that time. The month closes with a bang, transiting Venus conjunct Pluto. That has a lot of oomph. Ebertin’s definition for that conjunction is "fanaticism in love." And you have lots of other goodies showing up that month as well; including contacts with the
secondary progressed moon and lots of activity for both Mars and Venus. One word of caution. Transiting Saturn conjuncts your Ascendant. Saturn when it contacts you major personal points almost always raises issues of self-definition and self respect. These can be challenges. I think that given the highly dynamic nature of this potential relationship there is room for genuine self-exploration in this relationship. You might want to see if the guy is amenable to having a synastry chart workup up
so that you can seriously talk about real issues, especially if you feel this could be a long-term relationship. I think you’re going to feel this one deeply, and I want things to work out for you. I like to believe that no relationship is destined for divorce, but I can caution you that if this one is going to work it’s going to take some effort. However, there should be an obvious reward a key opportunity to know yourself better. Plus there is going to be some real fireworks. You owe it to
yourself to enjoy them. Another rejoinder about relationship. A non-traditional marriage may suit you best. You may find that marrying someone who lives in a different city works, or that you each maintain your own residence. Keep an open mind about this. What you need to do with your partner is create something that works for the both of you!
- When would be a good time for a career change? You definitely need one. Don’t throw out the baby with the bath water. Poverty doesn’t suit you, and you do best when you have a long term plan and stick to it. It really looks like 2008 is going to be a very important time in your life. That falls into line with starting a four-year education plan now. I think that in terms of a truly satisfying career, you are going to need additional education. Let’s look at
some possible careers based on your astrology first. You have an Aries sun with a cancer ascendant. However, it is a late cancer ascendant, so we should look at the indications for a Leo ascendant as well. The Cancer ascendant side indicates that you could be good with you people and that you have a protective emotional energy. Of course that suggests a career teaching or in social work. I can see you as a teacher or social worker, but not so much with young people. I also think that this
overlooks your creativity and spirituality. The recommendations associated with a Leo Ascendant are a lot more attractive. They’re based on you being a good organizer and leader who needs creative expression. These include careers in design, photography, and management. For some reason, the one reference I checked suggested military for both ascendants. So I’m throwing that out even if I can’t see it myself. Also, law enforcement, writing, and being a priest. I think it’s possible to
synthesize and combine skills here. For instance, you’re educational background is in criminal law. What about being a photographer of crime scenes. Eventually that could be parlayed into a creative career. Most creative professionals I know supplement their income by teaching. Therefore you could conceivably look to progress through maintaining the same employer. (I assume you are affiliated with a law enforcement office.) Eventually, you could develop your own artistic photography on the
side, or even make an art out of crime photography. There are hints of some type of subversive character to the work that you do. Once you have established yourself, you could teach either creative photography or crime photography. You could even write a best-selling book, "My Life as A crime Photographer" and appear on Oprah! You have a wonderful skill set that has broad application. Here, I suggest you think about concentrating on an area of creative expression and seeing how you can
develop that professionally through available resources and contacts.
Also, don’t overlook spirituality. I know that seems like something out of left field. If I hadn’t gone through a profound transformation in that area myself, I would not entertain it as a possibility for you. I’ve been doing this divination stuff a long time. When I see so many indicators that some type of spirituality should play an important role in your life, it should. I cannot tell you what that path should be. It does not have to be part of your career, although with your skill set,
you could write and speak about a spiritual practice and lead others in it! Save yourself some grief and realize that you will probably find this enjoyable. Ultimately, it will help you effectively realize yourself. Do a little reading here and there and see what catches your interest. If I had to go with a gut instinct, I would say I could see Buddhism working very well for you. But heck, you might like Wicca. Please avoid Satanism.
Just like the spirituality ultimately requires expression, your talents need a vehicle. Please be serious about developing a new career path for yourself. You have a lot more ability than you’ve used to date. Fortunately, you’re still young and have time on your side.
I really believe 2008 will be the year in which you begin to harvest the fruit of your effort.
