Eleanora Kimmel

Eleonora Kimmel, PMAFA, was born in Straubing, Germany on April 5, 1923 at 8:08 p.m. Her first introduction to astrology came in 1937 during a rainstorm, when she found a piece of a calendar describing the sign of Aries. The rise and fall of the Third Reich prevented her from nourishing this interest. After World War II, and learning English, she was employed by the United States Occupational Forces as a librarian, where she later met and married her American husband. She amved in the United States in December 1948 and became an American Citizen in 1952. Her astrological studies began when she purchased a magazine in 1950, and started accumulating the few books that were available. Her formal studies did not come about until she met Dr. Howard Polk in January 1958. It was a turning point in her life. She started teaching classes in 1961, became active in the local astrology group and joined the American Federation of Astrologers (AFA). In 1970, At the AFA International Convention where Eleonora was a speaker, she met Reinhold Ebertin. He embellished his system of Cosmobiology that she had been studying for several years and which later resulted in her traveling to many states. Eleonora was certified by Reinhold Ebertin and the Kosmobiologische Akademie in Germany in 1972 and has been teaching, lecturing and writing about Cosmobiology ever since. That same year she formed the Cosmobiological Research Foundation (CRF) in Denver Colorado. In 1976 she was invited by Doris Greaves of Melbourne, Australia to participate as a speaker at the first International Convention of the Federation of Australian Astrologers. During this trip she also introduced Cosmobiology in New Zealand. Two more trips to those regions followed in 1980 and 1984, where active groups took a firm stand teaching and practicing Cosmobiology. Eleonora’s publications include Fundamentals of Cosmobiology, Patterns of Destiny, Cosmobiology for the 21" Century, Altered and Unfinished Lives, and numerous articles published in various countries. She has been a board member of the AFA for more then twenty five years and is presently first vice president. She received the "Astrologer of the Year" award from Professional Astrologers Incorporated (PAI) in 1987 and in 1995 she was given the "Life Time Achievement Award" by the Cosmobiology Research Foundation. Through the years she has lectured at many conventions for AFA, UAC and numerous astrological groups in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Germany. At present, she is devoting her time to writing about her extensive research.
